As RFA Mounts Bay L3008 enters the Bay of Gibraltar escorted by the Royal Navy, the Guardia Civil vessel - which this morning had made three ‘Innocent Passages’ metres off the Gibraltar moles – follows the Royal Navy vessels at a half mile distance astern. When Mounts Bay is about to enter Gibraltar harbour, the GC vessel turns about in a circle (as picture shows) and sets course for Algeciras. Another GC vessel is also present in the Bay of Gibraltar (seen in picture) in Spanish waters.
