British Forces News has exclusively learnt that RAF Typhoon's operating from Lithuania have been involved in their first intercept mission.
Two jets were rushed to track a Russian Helicopter operating close to Latvian airspace.
Four RAF Typhoon's are based at Siauliai Airbase, providing reassurance to NATO's Baltic members in the wake of the Ukraine crisis.
