6937: Rolling in a heavy swell deep in the Southern Indian Ocean, the Anzac Class frigate HMAS TOOWOOMBA was one of several RAN units involved in the international search for debris from the missing Malaysian airliner Flight MH370. The aircraft disappeared over the South China Sea on Mar. 8, 2014 carrying 239 passengers. The search so far out of the aircraft's intended flight path to China was attracting world-wide attention as the mystery of its disappearance continued.
