![]() An Indian Navy ship has run aground off the coast of Vishakapatnam, India sustaining damages, the Press Trust of India reports.Hindustan Shipyard Limited designed and built only two ships of the class for the Indian Navy, INS Gharial (L23) and INS Magar (L20) , which are homeported in Vishakaptnam. The accident, which occurred last week, is the eight mishap involving the Indian Navy ships in the past seven months. All things seem to have gone wrong for the Navy, since August 14, when multiple explosions blasted on the Navy’s submarine named INS Sindhurakshak, killing 18 crewmembers onboard. INS Betwa, an Indian Navy frigate was involved in the most recent accident, which occurred in January this year, when the ship suffered damage in its critical component.
