Manama: Jan. 19 – (BNA): The Bahrain Royal Naval Forces (BRNF) has implemented a live ammunition exercise according to pre-scheduled naval training plans aimed to boost efficacy through practical training and qualification and to boost the capabilities of all naval personnel through training, preparation, command-and-control and fire-power management system.

The naval training exercise was conducted within the training range and defense zones, which included the monitoring and engaging of targets and live ammunition firing.

All targets were directly and precisely hit using high-tech weaponry. All participating groups proved efficiency in firing, and implemented the pre-assigned mission and duties both meritoriously and precisely according to plan.

The Bahrain Royal Navy implements firing drill in order to brush up the skills and qualification of personnel on tactics and operations in addition to consolidating the concept of concerted collective action with all BDF units and battalions as well as boosting the standard of personnel under the BDF development and modernization strategy through training aimed to pave solid military grounds aimed to safeguard the Kingdom’s naval boundaries, and to counter terrorist operations, mines, infiltration and sabotage.
