Chris Buziak, City of Corpus Christi’s commanding officer. The visit will serve as an opportunity for the crew to experience the unique culture and history of Japan and at the same time interact with its people. The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine is capable of conducting anti-surface and anti-submarine operations using conventional Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles. She departed Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on November 4, and headed for Western Pacific Deployment, the goal of which was to improve the boat’s crew day-to day excellence, as explained by Buziak. |
