Being deployed thousands of nautical miles from home brings a completely different perspective of life, especially when it comes to basic necessities. Instead of going to the grocery store, sailors have a different way of resupplying especially when at the high seas. As life onboard is tough, so is the resupplying mission an undertaking of its own. This is best seen in the following video, showing U.S. Marines and sailors assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and sailors assigned to the USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) conduct a resupply at sea aboard the USS Kearsarge while underway on May 28. The Kearsarge (LHD 3) is the third Wasp-class amphibious assault ship of the United States Navy.
